The University Faculty Senate recommended to the Interim Provost the adoption and implementation University wide these practices to guide rank, tenure and evaluative processes at colleges or academic units with fewer than three tenured faculty.
Congratulations to the Marquette Fellowship Recipients:
Dr. Philip Bucolo, Assistant Professor, Biological Sciences/Environment Program, Arts and Sciences,
to research Photosynthetic contributions of specific algal groups and the threats of harmful algal blooms throughout Lake Pontchartrain.
Dr. Kevin Rabalais, Professor of Practice, English, Arts and Sciences,
to research The closer to the Devil you get: The day the Earth broke at Lake Peigneur.
Dr. Diana Soto-Olson, Professor of Practice, Languages and Cultures, Arts and Sciences,
to research From scattered spectators to networked militants: A longitudinal analysis.
Dr. Annie McGlynn-Wright, Assistant Professor, Sociology, Arts and Sciences,
to research Understanding parent and caregiver experiences and preferences when applying to New Orleans’ all-charter school system.
Dr. Lindsay Sproul, Assistant Professor, English, Arts and Sciences,
will be working on a novel titled The Four Hundred.
The Executive Council is empowered to make decisions for the Senate when it is impossible to gather a quorum. The constitution of the senate.
