The University Faculty Senate recommended to the Interim Provost the adoption and implementation University wide these practices to guide rank, tenure and evaluative processes at colleges or academic units with fewer than three tenured faculty.

The Executive Council is empowered to make decisions for the Senate when it is impossible to gather a quorum.  The constitution of the senate.

2026-2027 Schedule of Meetings

All meetings are held on Thursdays (generally the third Thursday of the month) from 3:30 - 5 pm in Multimedia Room I in the J. Edgar and Louise S. Monroe Library and via zoom, except for the last meeting of the year in May.
